SPEND MORE SAVE LESS......

A day project to design an A3 poster that promotes the economist and philosopher John Maynard's Keynes theory that people should spend money instead of save it to help boost our economy.
Our group decided that promoting a lifestyle would be a good way of trying to get people to spend. To do this we needed to find someone who could be used as a signifier to promote a better lifestyle. We began by looking at popular culture(sports personalities, musicians etc.) but found that they couldn't quite sell the spend more save less caption that we were given as they spend a astronomical amount of money on a daily basis. After much deliberation we settled on Audrey Hepburn and Sean Connery as they can both be recognised by people of all ages but worked really well to connect with our target audience (25-50yrs).
The group worked well together as we all had different ideas to bring into all the discussions also we all had different knowledge that combined created a strong final outcome.
